  • Manage library Electronic Resources provision & management through Ebsco Discovery Service and Full Text Finder Link Resolver, including migration and implementation of these systems.
  • Working closely with vendors to manage subscriptions to print serials, software services, and electronic database and journals, and coordinating traditional and alternative monograph acquisitions.
  • Manage and administer EZProxy service, including updates, configuration and monitoring. Completed projects to migrate to proxy-by-host and server versions.
  • Manage institutional eBook subscriptions, licensing, and assessment.
  • Lead efforts to add multiple Patron-Driven eBook purchases and collection development.
  • Collaborate with Faculty on resource acquisition details including licensing and holdings changes, access, and renewal or cancellation decisions.
  • Maintains various documentation and best practices on E-Resources management, troubleshooting and access.
  • Served as College contact for consortia Overdrive eBook purchases & metadata.
  • Forward-looking approach to improving and expanding library adoption of software, policies and procedures as standards, best-practices and vendor offerings change.
  • Contributed to Library Strategic and Assessment Planning processes across Library Technical Services.
  • Performing original and copy-cataloging of library materials conforming to professional standards including RDA, LCSH, and Dewey Decimal Classification.
  • Coordinate and troubleshoot library use of software tools such as OCLC Connexion Client, WebDewey, MarcEdit, and ILS reporting tools.
  • Developed improvement of Collection Development methods, accounting reports, and other acquisitions duties including a variety of eBook acquisitions across platforms.
  • Administers print serial holdings in ILS and link resolver, and print subscriptions with EBSCO.
  • Managing library professional staff and shaping policy in areas of cataloging, ILL, and serials.
  • Delivering occasional library instruction to first-year students and English 101 classes on the library’s resources and research methods.
  • Working diligently with colleagues to continually deliver best possibly library services including reference, technology, and circulation.
  • Wrote, administered, and coordinated three $10,000 NNYLN grants to digitize some of the library’s archival collections and make them available online.
  • Set metadata and crosswalk procedures for NNYLN digitization grants to ensure high quality descriptive metadata for historical photographs to be submitted to NYHeritage ContentDM instance.
